Previous Framework laptops used a mix of materials. Now, however, the new 13 Pro chassis is fully CNC-machined from 6000-series aluminum. It looks and feels like a premium machine. The design is flat and slab-like. In graphite black, it resembles a modern MacBook Pro.

A fully-loaded model with Core Ultra X7 358H, 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD costs $2,099 with Linux. The Windows 11 version runs $2,299.
